Understanding Indonesia Visa

A Republic of Indonesia Visa, hereinafter referred to as a Visa, is a written statement issued by an authorized official at a Representative Office of the Republic of Indonesia or at another location designated by the Government of the Republic of Indonesia, containing approval for a Foreigner to travel to Indonesian Territory and serving as the basis for granting a Stay Permit.

Types of Indonesian Business Visa

1. Single Entry, also known as the C2 Visa. This visa allows foreign nationals to enter Indonesia for a single trip and provides a stay of 60 days. This visa can be extended up to two times, each for 60 days.
2. Multiple Entry, also known as the D2 Visa. This visa allows foreign nationals to enter and exit Indonesia multiple times during the visa’s validity period. This visa provides a 60-day stay per entry.

The Purpose of C2 & D2 Visa

1. Business
2. Attending Meetings
3. Purchase Goods

• Conducting activities related to business, meetings, or purchasing goods, including but not limited to inspecting goods at offices, factories, or production sites.
• Conducting discussions, negotiations, and/or signing business agreements.

The Validity Period Visa C2 & D2

Visa C2

Valid for 60 days and can be extended 2x. Every time you extend, you get a 60 day stay permit.

Visa D2

Valid for 1 year, 2 years & 5 years. Every time you enter you will get a 60 day stay permit.

Requirement Visa C2 & D2

1. Passport with a minimum validity of 6 months
2. Bank statement of at least US$2,000 (two thousand United States Dollars) or equivalent
3. A recent color photograph measuring 3.5 x 4.5 cm or 3 x 4 cm (30 x 40 mm) with a white background

5. Travel Itinerary
6. Domicile in Indonesia
7. Sponsorship & guarantee letter
