Understanding the C18 Visa

A prospective foreign worker trial visa, or C18 Index Visit Visa, is a temporary stay permit granted to prospective foreign workers to test their work skills at a company in Indonesia. This visa has a maximum validity of 90 days and cannot be extended. Prospective foreign workers may only use this visa once for one company.

C18 Visa Activities

This visa allows foreigners to stay temporarily in Indonesia for work trial purposes, but does not grant the right to work officially.

Requirements for C18 Visa 

1. Passport is valid for at least 6 (six) months (for holders of travel documents other than passports such as emergency passports, documents of identity, etc. must be valid for 12 months). 
2. Personal bank statement for the last 3 months period (including name, date of period, and account balance). 
3. Latest color photograph. 
4. Invitation to conduct work trials from government agencies or private institutions.

How Long is the C18 Visa Valid?

The maximum period granted through the C18 Visa is 90 days, and cannot be extended, based on the latest regulations of the Directorate General of Immigration.

The C18 visa is only valid for one entry and cannot be used more than once with the same guarantor.

How Long the Process C18 Visa?

The general visa process takes approximately 5-7 working days.
