What is Investment Realization Report or LKPM? – Based on Law No. 25 of 2007, Investment Realization Report which includes the development of investment and the obstacles faced by investors are regularly submitted to the Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) and the regional government responsible for investment.

Submission of LKPM is carried out online and periodically through the Electronic Investment Licensing and Information Services System (SPIPISE) for each business activity carried out by investors. If the investment value is only up to Rp. 500 million, the investors only need to submit a report on business activities in accordance with the regulations of the authorized technical agency. However, if the business activities for each line of business and/or location have an investment of more than Rp. 500 million, the investors must submit Investment Realization Report.

Submission of LKPM refers to data and/or changes in business licensing data, including changes to data listed in the Online Single Submission (OSS) system in accordance with the current period, with the following conditions:

1. Quarterly Report I are submitted no later than the 10th of April of the year concerned;
2. Quarterly Report II submitted no later than the 10th of July of the year concerned;
3. Quarterly Report III are submitted no later than the 10th of October of the year concerned; and
4. Quarterly Report IV are submitted no later than the 10th of January of the following year.

In addition, the LKPM format consists of:

A. LKPM for business activities that are not yet in commercial production; and
B. LKPM for business activities that are already in commercial production.

BKPM or related authorized technical agency, in accordance with their authority, imposes administrative sanctions on business actors who do not submit Investment Realization Report.

Administrative sanctions, carried out by:

A. written or online warning;
B. restrictions on business activities;
C. freezing of business activities and/or investment facilities; or
D. revocation of business activities and/or investment permits and/or investment facilities.
