What is Dahsuskim?

Dahsuskim stands for Immigration Special Facility which handles the licensing sector for foreign workers in the maritime field. For companies that will employ foreign workers as experts, captains and crew of ships/floating equipment operating in all Indonesian territorial waters, territorial sea, or installations on the continental shelf and the Exclusive Economic Zone must take care of the requirements for the Dahsuskim waters ITAS application.

Dahsuskim water ITAS requirements?

New application

1. Letter of application from the company / Sponsor;
2. Letter of guarantee from the company/ Sponsor;
3. Agency letter for ships, floating equipment, or installations;
4. Letters of recommendation from related government agencies, among others:

a. Decree of the Director General of Sea Transportation
b. Decree of the Director General of Capture Fisheries
c. Ministerial decree

5. Crew List Route Pattern Plan of the ship that is approved by government agencies, related government agencies from the port of origin;
6. Crew List of Foreigners to be submitted by the company/Sponsor;
7. Passport of the submitted crew member;

Application for extension

1. Letter of application from the company / Sponsor;
2. Letter of guarantee from the company/ Sponsor;
3. Letters of recommendation from related government agencies, among others:

a. Decree of the Director General of Sea Transportation
b. Decree of the Director General of Capture Fisheries
c. Ministerial Decree
d. Route Pattern Plan

4. Crew list of ships that are legalized by government agencies, related government agencies from the port of origin;
5. Crew List of Foreigners to be submitted by the company/Sponsor;
6. Passport of the submitted crew member;
7. Copy of the previous SK – decree;
8. A copy of the Dahsuskim stamp at the immigration office;

Dahsuskim ITAS cost – PNBP?

1. Approval of Limited Stay Permit for Workers in Indonesian Waters – per application, Rp. 1,000,000.
2. The limited stay permit fee for Workers in Indonesian Waters – per application, Rp. 300,000.

Dahsuskim ITAS validity period?

1. Waters ITAS with a maximum period of 1 (one) year can be extended 1 (one) time for a maximum period of 1 (one) year.
2. ITAS Waters with a maximum period of 180 (one hundred and eighty) days can be extended a maximum of 3 (three) times in a row for a maximum period of 180 (one hundred and eighty) days each time the extension.
3. Provisions regarding the granting of a Limited Stay Permit in Waters apply mutatis mutandis to the extension of a Limited Stay Permit in Waters.

Additional information

Water ITAS holders can go ashore leaving their ship no later than 7 (seven) days after obtaining permission from the head of the immigration office.

Acceptable reasons for permission to go ashore include:

1. Administrative interests with the guarantor office.
2. Get treatment.
3. Leaving Indonesian Territory
