Index Visas In Indonesia – In addition to a passport, a visa is also needed for someone to travel abroad. A visa is an official document issued by a country that contains a permit to allow someone to enter the territory of a country. But not just any visa can be used to travel to a country. A person can be refused and deported if they do not have a visa or carry the wrong index visas in Indonesia. The types and types of visas vary depending on their functions and needs.
The following are the index visas in Indonesia:
1. The Visit Visa is divided into:
a) Visits (single)
B211A, B211B, B211C
The purpose and purpose of the visa are:
- Travel,

- Giving lectures,

b) Visits (Multiple)

Almost the same as single entry, the only difference is:
- This visa must have a Visa Approval from the Directorate General of Immigration in Jakarta.
- This visa has a 60-day stay permit period each time you arrive in Indonesia or;
- A maximum of 6 times used / 1 year.
- This Multiple Visa can be extended 1 time, but only for ex-Indonesian citizens.
2. Visa on Arrival
B213
The purpose and purpose of the visa are (Same with B211A):
- This type of visa does not require visa approval from the directorate general of immigration in Jakarta.
- This type of visa is given to foreign nationals upon arrival at the immigration checkpoint.
- This visa has a 60-day stay permit period and can also be extended a maximum of 4 times with a 30-day stay permit period per renewal.
3. Limited Stay Visa
a) WTO Experts

This type of visa is given to foreign nationals in order to work in the World Trade Organization (WTO). Before working, the foreign national must have a recommendation from the Ministry of Manpower, namely a work permit for foreign nationals and visa approval from the directorate general of immigration in Jakarta. The residence permit is granted for a maximum period of 2 years and can be extended for a maximum of 4 times.
b) Experts

This type of visa is granted to foreign nationals in order to work as experts in various fields. Before working, the foreign citizen must have a recommendation from the Ministry of Manpower, namely work permits for foreign nationals, namely RPTKA, NOTIFICATION and DPKK and also visa / telex approval from the directorate general of immigration in Jakarta. The residence permit is granted for a maximum period of 2 years and can be extended for a maximum of 4 times.
c) Investors
C313 & C314
This type of visa is granted to foreign nationals in order to invest in the company. Where investors have made it easier to apply for a limited residence permit. Based on Presidential Regulation No. 20 of 2018 concerning the use of foreign workers. For Shareholders who serve as members of the Board of Directors or Board of Commissioners are not required to have a RPTKA, NOTIFICATION and DPKK directly apply for a Limited Stay Visa.
The Limited Stay Permit visa is granted for a maximum period of 2 years and can be extended a maximum of 4 times and can also be changed to be a permanent stay permit.
d) Trainings & Researches

This type of visa is given to foreign nationals in order to take part in scientific training and research and not work in Indonesia. The Limited Stay Permit visa is granted for a maximum period of 1 year and can be extended to follow the training period.
e) Students

This type of visa is given to foreign nationals to study and not work for a period of time in Indonesia. The Limited Stay Permit visa is granted for a maximum period of 2 years and can be extended to follow the education period in Indonesia.
f) Family Reunification

This type of visa is given to foreign nationals for reunification with families in Indonesia both the wife/husband of Indonesian citizens in a legal mixed marriage. Before obtaining the visa as a sponsor/guarantor of the foreign national must apply for a visa/telex approval from the directorate general of immigration in Jakarta. The residence permit is granted for a maximum period of 2 years and can be extended for a maximum of 4 times and can also be converted to a permanent stay permit.
g) Repatriation/Ex-Indonesian Citizens

This type of visa is given to former Indonesian citizens in order to return to being Indonesian citizens. The residence permit is granted for a maximum period of 2 years and can be extended for a maximum of 4 times and can also be converted to a permanent stay permit.
h) Retired Age Tourists

This type of visa is given to foreign nationals but not to work and those who are at least 55 years old who wish to spend their retirement in Indonesia.
